Zahangir’s role in YMM is consulting on fertilizer production, qualification, and optimization for application on Malaysian land.

He holds a Ph. D. in Biochemical Engineering and M. Sc. in Chemical and Process Engineering. His highest achievements are; Prosper.Net-Scopus Young Researcher Award 1st Runner Up 2010 (Energy Category), Asia-Pacific. World Research Advocacy Award 2015 by IAMURE Multidisciplinary Research (Philippines), August 26, 2015, held in Brunei Darussalam. 63 GOLD MEDALS including 18 GOLD MEDALS from international events for Research and Innovation. 550+ publications include journal and conference papers, technical reports, patents, books and book chapters, 29 patents. The first recipient of Techno Fund Research Grant at IIUM (RM1,000,000). Top-listed SCI journal publications at IIUM (Web of Science). Top five depositors of publication at IREP (IIUM Repository).
