Technical Advisor

Prof Rakmi holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and M.Eng.Sc in Environmental Chemical Engineering. She has been involved in more than 190 projects and assessments, the most recent (2019) being:

- Pasir Gudang carrying capacity Assessment (DOE/EOC UKM) -in charge of industrial processes, chemicals, and hazardous waste.

- RS Ulung Plastics to Fuel & Biogas Plant

- Genting Energy EMP For Large Scale Solar 100 MW at Tampin Negeri Sembilan; as the Team Leader and Environmental Expert.

-MINCO Development of EIA Guidelines for Industries -in charge of chemical industries

- Leader Energy EMP for Large Scale Solar 100MW at Gurun, Kedah.

She is an affiliated with a number of relevant organizations, eg: Member of Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) -Reg No:22350A; Subject Specialist for Individual Process and EIA Registered Consultant for Water Quality and Solid Waste Management with DOE Malaysia (Reg No: CS2018); Member of International ISO Technical Committee ISO TC207 (Ecolabelling & Greenhousegases); Member of SIRIM Technical Committee Environmental Labelling (TC/z/3); Corporate member of the Institution of Chemical Engineering Malaysia; Member of Institute of Energy Malaysia.
